Dr. McKenzie was one of the founding members of Trillium Health Partners’ neurology department in the early 1980s.

Dr. Stephen McKenzie passed away at the age of 68, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, a proud father to his son and daughter, and an adoring grandfather to his grandson.

Stephen graduated from the University of Ottawa medical school with highest academic standing before embarking on a 40-year career as a much-loved and respected neurologist at Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga, where he was one of the neurology department’s founding members. Always generous with his time in caring for patients, he was a leader in the field of multiple sclerosis, his obituary read.
