On October 6, 47-year-old Brent Hallett, a resident of Ponoka, Alberta, was slain during a stabbing spree while on vacation with his wife, Carmelita.
The 47-year-old back of Brent Hallett had been stabbed in an instant. On a crowded, sunny Las Vegas Boulevard, it was wide-open and just before noon. In front of Wynn Las Vegas, a man started slashing people with a 12-inch knife as he ran down the Strip. The attack on Thursday left six individuals hurt. Maris DiGiovanni, a 30-year-old Las Vegas resident, and Hallett were among the two that passed away.
