Crystal Goforth Obituary – Cause of Death: Levelland Animal Control officer killed in tragic crash on duty; Another injured.
Two fellow ACO’s from the city of Levelland, TX were involved in a serious motor vehicle accident while performing a routine duty on Thursday.
On Thursday morning, October 13, 2022, Animal Control Officer Crystal Goforth and Animal Control Officer Jon Corder, with the City of Levelland Animal Control, were responding to a service call for a DOA dog on the side of the road. An inattentive driver swerved onto the shoulder, striking the animal control vehicle, killing Crystal, and critically injuring Jon, report says.
“We will miss seeing Crystal’s bright smile on a daily basis, as well as the compassion she had for the animals in our community. She will forever be in our hearts and our deepest condolences go out to her family and friends,” – College Avenue Animal Clinic.
