Dane Partridge Obituary: U.S. Army veteran and father of 5 dies fighting in Ukraine.

Dane Partridge, an Idaho father, former infantryman and U.S. Army veteran, died this week in Ukraine after suffering injuries from a Russian attack while “fighting for freedom in Ukraine,” his family announced.

Partridge was 34 years old.

Partridge was hit on October 3 during a Russian tank attack on his battalion in Severodonetsk, a city in the Luhansk region. Partridge, who served as an infantryman in Iraq for 15 months between 2007 and 2009, received catastrophic injuries to his neck and brain stem, according to his family.

Partridge’s death makes it at least five Americans who have been killed in the Russia-Ukraine war.
