Saxzonee Grisham Car Accident – Obituary News: Woman killed in “tragic” Springfield car accident.
A two-car collision in Springfield resulted in the death of a woman, and three additional people, including a juvenile, were taken to the hospital.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, officers were summoned to a collision on Tuesday at 12:07 p.m. on State Route 4 and Upper Valley Pike.
A Dodge Ram 1500 being driven by a 29-year-old male was traveling west on US 40 when he collided with a vehicle being driven by Saxzonee Grisham, 30, who was making a left turn at the intersection of Upper Valley Pike.
Then, according to OSHP, Grisham’s automobile veered off the left side of the road and collided with a guardrail, coming to rest there.
Authorities verified that Grisham was transported to the hospital in a Careflight chopper. Later, she succumbed to her wounds. Her 9-year-old passenger was injured, although not in a life-threatening way, and was sent to a nearby hospital.
Injuries that weren’t life threatening were also treated at a nearby hospital by the Ram’s driver and his passenger.
