Andrew Whitcomb and Pearson Franklin Accident – Obituary: Two construction workers killed in crash on Great River Bridge in Burlington, Iowa.

The Mount Pleasant High School Class of 2020 mourns the passing of Pearson Franklin.

20-year-old construction worker from New London, Iowa, Pearson Franklin died due to injuries he suffered when he was struck by a car on the Great River Bridge on Tuesday morning.

His co-worker 35-year-old Andrew Whitcomb of Burnside, Illinois, also died from injuries suffered in the incident.

According to reports, a 21-year-old girl who was texting on her phone struck and killed them on the Great River Bridge carrying US 34 over the Mississippi.
