Car Accident Latrobe Tasmania: Man killed, Woman & infant injured in horrific crash on Bass Highway.
Authorities have now confirmed an adult male only identified as a 68-year-old died after a two-vehicle crash in Tasmania’s north on Saturday morning.
According to reports, emergency services were called to the scene of the “serious crash” on the Bass Highway at Latrobe, near the House of Anvers on Saturday morning.
The 68-year-old man was attended to by paramedics on the site, and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was sent in, however he passed away shortly after.
A 10-month-old baby and a 23-year-old woman who were in the second car got medical attention as well, but they managed to escape without any significant injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
