Casey Southworth Motorcycle Accident – Obituary News: Norwegian teenager killed in two-vehicle crash in Gorham.
A Norwegian teenager who died on Tuesday when his motorcycle crashed into a school bus carrying student athletes in Gorham, Maine, is now identified as 18-year-old Casey Southworth.
According to Gorham police, Southworth was struck by a bus as it was turning left from Route 202 onto Libby Avenue at 3:30 p.m.
The 2003 Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle operated by Southworth leaped off the bus and into the path of an approaching car. Sarah Valerian, 18, of Gorham, was operating a vehicle, according to Chief Christopher Sanborn.
Southworth was transported to Maine Medical Center with “severe and life-threatening injuries” and later passed away there, according to Sanborn.
