Car Accident Nanaimo: Multi-vehicle collision in Cassidy to cause major delays.
A four-vehicle incident that occurred in the northbound lanes close to Haslam Road in Cassidy shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 27 required the assistance of emergency personnel on the Trans-Canada Highway south of Nanaimo.
Despite having damage to its rear end, one of the cars was able to be driven away from the accident.
Due to another accident further south, all northbound and southbound highway traffic was fully halted.
Although Haslam Road was being used as a detour, as of around 4:45 p.m., no traffic was flowing there.
