Janet Leissner Death – Obituary: CBS News Journalist Janet Leissner is Dead: According to an online obituary on Tueday, November 8, 2022, Janet Leissner has passed away unexpectedly. However, cause of death was not disclosed.

At her home, on Sunday, November 6, 2022, JANET LEISSNER of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved sister of Ellen Leissner Carroll. Loving aunt of Erica and Noah Jacobson and great aunt to Max and Brynn Jacobson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, 1 p.m. at Judean Memorial Garden Chapel, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832 with interment following.

Shiva will be held at the home of Ellen Leissner Carroll on Tuesday and Wednesday starting at 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Humane Society or the Lupus Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.
