Glen Stade Obituary – Cause of Death: In loving memory of McHenry County farmer killed in tragic accident.
Glen will be remembered as loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son. Beloved friend and farmer.
On October 25th, 2022, the Stade family lost Glen at the age of 65, due to a tragic farming accident.
McHenry County Coroner Michael Rein confirmed Stade died on Tuesday at the hospital.
Stade’s brother, Vern Stade, who owns Stade’s Farm, said his brother fell about 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Glen Stade, a grain elevator operator, was a workaholic and polite, and always helped everybody he could.
“McHenry County Farm Bureau would like to pass along our condolences to the family and friends of Glen Stade. Area farmers came together this morning to offer a tractor salute,” McHenry County Farm Bureau wrote in a statement shared on Facebook on Saturday, November 12.
