Brittany passed away January 1, 2023.
According to a social media post with an attached video, Brittany was refused treatment because she had a prior run-in with the RN who didn’t like her.
“This is sickle cell patient, Brittany Hightower. She was refused treatment because she had a prior run-in with the RN who didn’t like her. She passed away January 1, 2023 her family & friends wants the video shared to receive Justice,” the post read.
“Days after losing her mother, we are seeing reports that Brittany Hightower has passed away. The Sickle Cell Community is mourning her loss. We send our deepest condolences to her family. We have lost Giants in the Sickle Cell Community,” a tribute post shared via Facebook read.
