Cottage Grove Car Accident: Four injured in three-vehicle crash in the Pullman neighborhood.

In the Pullman neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side, a three-car crash left four people hurt. It happened on the same street where a deadly pile-up happened just two days before.

The accident took place Friday afternoon at the corner of 103rd Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. Police say that a 75-year-old man was driving an SUV west on 103rd Street when it hit an SUV driven by a 16-year-old girl who was trying to turn left on 103rd from Cottage Grove.

A Ford Escape with two women in it, ages 22 and 24, was also hit, police said. The front is almost gone, and the two young women inside are badly hurt, according to the police.

Police said that the 24-year-old woman was rushed to University of Chicago Hospital in a very bad state. Also in good shape, the 22-year-old was taken to U of C Hospital.

Police said the 75-year-old driver was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in fair condition with minor injuries. The driver, who was 16 years old, also got hurt a little bit and was taken to the University of Chicago in fair condition.
