Abbotsford Motorcycle Accident: 58-year-old motorcyclist dies in Sunday evening crash at the intersection of Gladwin Road and Nanaimo Crescent.
A major incident between a motorcycle and a car on Sunday night, according to Abbotsford Police, has resulted in death.
The 58-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he passed away soon after, said police Sergeant Paul Walker in a release.
“Speed is thought to have contributed to the crash. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) is assisting the AbbyPD Patrol Officers in the early phases of their inquiry.
The second motorist, a 21-year-old woman, was just slightly hurt and is helping the police with their investigation.
The collision happened at the Gladwin Road and Nanaimo Crescent intersection just before 6:30 o’clock.
