Colton Sanchez Obituary News – Death: Alto, TX man killed in tragic freak accident while cutting tree in Cherokee County.
Tuesday afternoon in Cherokee County, a man, 27, died after being pinned against a truck by a tree limb.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Colton Sanchez, of Alto, was chopping tree limbs while riding in a bucket truck when he became trapped between a limb and the bucket.
The incident took place outside of Alto in the 11000 block of FM 752 at about 4:30 p.m. Sanchez was discovered unconscious when deputies and EMS arrived, according to the sheriff’s office.
When Sanchez arrived at the hospital, doctors declared him dead. According to the sheriff’s office, an autopsy has been requested.
