Ebony Dandrich Manorville Motorcycle Accident: East Moriches woman killed in two-vehicle collision in Manorville.
Detectives from the Seventh Squad of the Suffolk County Police are looking into a car accident that occurred in Manorville on June 18 and resulted in the death of one person and serious injuries to another.
At 11:48 a.m., Ebony Dandrich was operating a 2022 BMW that was headed south on Wading River Road when she attempted to make a left turn onto South Street. The 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle was heading north through the intersection. Delio Dicuffa, the motorcycle’s operator, and Loraine Dicuffa, his companion, were both thrown off the motorcycle.
East Moriches resident Loraine Dicuffa, 49, was taken by ambulance to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where she was later declared dead. Delio Dicuffa, her husband, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital by Suffolk County Police helicopter for treatment of serious physical wounds. He is also from East Moriches and is 50 years old.
Dandrich, 38, a resident of Shirley, was unharmed. Both cars were seized to be inspected for safety. Call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 if you have any information about this crash.
