Jeffery McMillian Motorcycle Accident Winston Salem: Man dies following crash at the intersection of Peters Creek Parkway, Ethel Drive.
At the intersection of Peters Creek Parkway and Ethel Drive in Winston-Salem, a motorbike driver was killed in the collision.
According to a press release from the Winston-Salem Police Department, a motorcycle-riding male from Winston-Salem passed away on Wednesday following a collision near the intersection of Peters Creek Parkway and Ethel Drive.
At approximately 6:16 p.m., WSPD officers were dispatched to the scene of a reported car accident at the junction of Peters Creek Parkway and Ethel Drive.
According to the initial investigation, Jeffery McMillian, 23, of Winston-Salem, was traveling north on Peters Creek Parkway on a 2017 Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorbike as he approached the junction with Ethel Drive.
According to authorities, an 80-year-old Winston-Salem man was traveling south on Peters Creek Parkway in a 2014 Honda Accord and was about to make a left turn onto Ethel Drive when they collided in the intersection. McMillian was brought to a nearby hospital where he was later declared deceased.
The Traffic Enforcement Unit of the WSPD rushed to the scene and took control of the ongoing investigation.
McMillian’s next of kin was informed.
