In an effort to prevent her from being labeled as a “faceless victim,” the family of a grandmother who was murdered in an accused hit-and-run has exposed her identify.
Following a two-car collision at Point Cook in Melbourne’s southwest at 11 p.m. on Friday, Caroline, 53, passed away in the hospital on Saturday.
Before her family revealed her identity on Monday and delivered a moving message, her identity remained unknown for a number of days.
“We don’t want her to be a nameless victim in such a horrific weekend,” someone said. The family released a statement revealing Caroline’s identity.
“She was the most gorgeous, kindhearted woman who had such a great love for everyone and she touched the lives of so many people as a caregiver and healer,” someone once said.
The family also stated that Caroline ‘loved her twin grandchildren Evah and Indie’.
“They were her entire world,” Everyone is inconsolable,” the family proclaimed.
