Shaye Terrill-Yaklich Motorcycle Accident Bemidji, MN: Victim identified in fatal two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bemidji Ave. and 2nd St. NW.
A motorbike and a pickup vehicle were involved in an accident on June 2 at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Bemidji near the junction of Bemidji Ave. and 2nd St. NW, according to a press release from the Bemidji Police Department. Officers arrived and discovered a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorbike being operated by Shaye Terrill-Yaklich, 25, also of Bemidji, and a 2015 Ford F150 pickup being operated by Duane White, 65, also of Bemidji.
The motorbike is supposed to have been moving at a high pace when it entered the intersection and collided with the side of the pickup, according to witnesses and passengers in White’s car who reported the incident to police. At the scene, Terrill-Yaklich was declared deceased.
The Bemidji Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol are still looking into the matter.
