Slinger, WI Car Accident: One killed in Highway 60 crash.
Slinger Fire Department and Lifestar Emergency Medical Services were called to the I-41 southbound near Hillside Road at 10:02 a.m. on June 9, 2023, for a single-vehicle incident that was followed by a second crash involving injuries.
Crews responded and evaluated the affected car. I-41 SB and Highway 60 experienced traffic bottlenecks as a result of the accident’s location.
At 10:18 a.m., while responders were still on the scene, a second incident involving a vehicle rollover and a pedestrian was reported at State Highway 60 and I-41 SB.
As soon as the crews arrived, they started evaluating the vehicles and performing life-saving procedures. One subject had already passed away there and there.
For a number of hours, State Highway 60 will be closed between I-41 and Lovers Lane to allow for crash repair. As the matter is still being investigated, no additional information will be disclosed at this time.
