British Photojournalist, Tom Stoddart has died aged 68

Tom Stoddart Death- Cause of Death: British Photojournalist, Tom Stoddart passes away from cancer, his family announced. He was 68 years old.

“Tom was the finest documentary photographer of his generation, the kindest and gentlest of men, and a true master of his craft.”

Tom is well known and won several awards for his photography in war zones such as Sarajevo and Beirut. He was seriously injured in 1992 while covering fighting around the Bosnian Parliament.

Tom documented international events including the war in Lebanon, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the election of President Nelson Mandela, the bloody siege of Sarajevo and the wars against Saddam Hussein in Iraq. He also photographed Royal weddings.
