Doug Moore KNTV Death – Cause of Death: Longtime KNTV anchor, Doug Moore has passed away.
Doug was a SanJose legend, he anchored the nightly news along with Maggi Scura for almost 20 years.
Doug Moore was an early mentor in this business for me, always encouraging, always thoughtful.
In a field sadly famous for selfishness, I was lucky to be so encouraged by someone who cared about the future of TV news.

His cause of death is yet to be disclosed.
“It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of my old colleague, Doug Moore,” Damian Trujillo wrote. “I sat next to Doug in the newsroom as a rookie. But he never treated me like one. Just a consummate professional. Doug, you will always be Mr. San Jose.”
