Rapper, Young Dolph killed in Memphis shooting

Young Dolph Death: Memphis rapper, Young Dolph was shot and killed in his hometown on Wednesday.

The 36-year-old rapper, Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. “Young Dolph” was shot around 1 p.m. at Makeda’s Butter Cookies where he was at that time to buy cookies.

The rapper had just walked in to the store to buy cookies when someone drove by before shooting him, the owner of the store, Maurice Hill said his employee explained.

Young Dolph had previously been a shooting victim, when he was shot outside of a retail store in Hollywood, Los Angeles on September 26, 2017. He spent two weeks in the hospital as he suffered from three gunshot wounds from which he survived.

The rapper released his debut studio album, “King of Memphis” in 2016. The album peaked number 49 on the Billboard 200 chart. Having his most recent album, “PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi” released in 2021.
