Chris Hutka Death – Obituary: Information reaching our desk is that Chris Hutka, who sings with The Bunny the Bear band has passed away. He died on Saturday, July 10, 2021. His cause of death was not given.

The Bunny the Bear, American post-hardcore band from Buffalo, New York announces the death of Chris on their official Facebook page, No doubt “Chris had a massive heart, and an undeniable talent. The voice of an angel.”

“As some may have heard… our original singer Chris Hutka has passed away.
I’ve know Chris since I was 15, and we spent the better part of a decade causing trouble together, making music, having ins…and having outs. All while creating thousands of memories I will never forget. Chris had a massive heart, and an undeniable talent. The voice of an angel.
Nothing will ever change the love I have for him, and I know many of you feel the same.
Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Rest In Peace man”

Chris Hutka featured in The band’s first five albums as The Bear. Their sixth album A Liar Wrote This features Hutka’s then-replacement, Haley Roback, and their seventh album The Way We Rust features Joseph Garcia, who had toured with the band in the past.

Chris Hutka works with The Bunny the Bear. Plays at with TBTB at Xtreme Wheels show in Tubestar and also perform at Buff State.
