CM Owens Death – Obituary: Author C.M. Owens Cause of Death

CM Owens Death – Obituary: It is with great sadness to announce that CM Owens has passed away following her involvement in a fatal head-on crash. She died on July 26, 2021

Tiffany Roberts wrote “C.M. Owens, an amazingly talented author, passed away on Saturday, July 25th. It was incredibly heartbreaking news to discover today, even more so knowing she was struggling before this (though the reasons were private and were not shared). She published under a few pen names—C.M. Owens, S.T. Abby, and Kristy Cunning—and created so many stories that were loved by many.

I was one of them. And I am so glad I had the opportunity to read her stories, and even get a few signed books to treasure. She was amazing and thoughtful to her readers, and my heart goes out to her family and friends at this time.
For those who would like to look into her books, I’ll add her link in the comments.

“For someone who is supposed to be good with words, I don’t know what to say. My friend, C.M. Owens, passed away in a tragic incident Saturday. To say I’m heartbroken and she will be missed just doesn’t suffice.
CM is a large part of the reason I have the writing career I have today. She’s the reason I found my place in comedy and in this book world.
She didn’t know me at all and didn’t care that I was a newer author when she reached out to me to co-write. Because that was the type of person she was. Kind and daring and funny. She was so incredibly talented and a wonderful friend. I’m thankful that I got to know her, honored I got to write with her, and eternally grateful for all the help and kindness she showed me.

Please, keep her family in your hearts and thoughts.
A memorial page has been set up where you can pay your respects.”
Love and condolences to all the family, friends, readers, authors, and book community members that are grieving C.M Owens. I didn’t know her personally, but I did read and enjoy Four Psychos. I think one of the beautiful things about being creative is the ability to put pieces of your soul into your work. It makes you feel connected to the artist in such a precious way. She brought people together from around the world and will be missed by many.

I have just learned of the passing of one of our sisters, C.M Owens, who also wrote under Kristy Cunning and St Abby. I had the pleasure of chatting with her on more than one occasion, and every single time she made me laugh. Such a down to earth, good soul kind of woman.
Rest in love, babe. My heart goes out to her family during this time.

Wanderlust Signing Events says;

Jenny and I are so saddened by the news of CM Owens passing. CM signed with us in 2018 at Wanderlust in Vegas and I can’t even tell you how excited I was to meet her. I remember telling her that I was sorry but I was going to have a fan girl moment then I would be her professional event host again. She said that’s ok, because she would too, that she was just as excited to meet us. That’s how all my exchanges were with her. She was so warm and inviting. In reading all these amazing posts on her, what impact she left on so many of us!
We are sending our thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.
If you haven’t read CM Owens, or anything under her pen names of Kristy Cunning & St. Abby, do yourself a huge favor and pick up one of her books. The Wild Ones will forever be one of my favorite series!! ❤️
