While announcing Kathy’s passing, her cause of death was not disclosed.
“This beautiful person (inside and out) was a sorority sister and friend of mine,” Becky Haney Elmore wrote. “The world will miss her. Pray for her family during this really tough time.”
“Kathy Manning Loeb was Miss Mississippi (runner up to Miss America) while we were in school. But I best remember her for not realizing how beautiful she was, throwing on jeans for our class and looking amazing, and singing Desperado a cappella at a retreat, that gave us all chills. She had a very sweet soul that spoke kindness and support. You are loved dear angel.”
