28 years old Sophie Burns was reported missing from her home in Carlisle, Cumbia, on Sunday, December 12th, and search for her return is still conducted, her family has been assisting police with search efforts throughout the remote county since then.
A body was found by the Police in Cumbria, which was recovered in Burgh-by-Sands, but have not yet identified it
After learning of the tragic finding, Sophie’s distraught family paid tribute to the “beautiful” and “gifted” young woman.
Pauline, Sophie’s mum said that , “We will always miss our beautiful and talented daughter, No one will ever replace the emptiness in our lives. Sophie is a really bright and talented artist.”
Lucy also said that “Sophie’s partner” “I can’t believe I am writing this. You were loved by so many people “she wishes you could have seen all the love and support since you went missing “I know you are at peace now from all of your demons. Rest easy Sofa, until we meet again. The brightest star in the sky.”
Cumbria Police said in a statement: “The corpse of a woman was discovered approximately 3 p.m. yesterday in the Burgh-by-Sands area, according to police.
“Formal identification has yet to be completed, and investigations are ongoing.”

Sophie Burns was 28 years old before she got missing, she was from Carlisle, Cumbria. She was English by nationality, and she was the daughter of Pauline Burns.
Sophie had the same-gender preference as she was married to Lucy Cottier. The couple has a child together
