Ezra Chiloba was the former Chief Executive Officer/Commission Secretary at Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission

He served in the public sector and more specifically in the human rights field. In many ways, He was disillusioned by the disconnect between what he believed and the reality in my home country, Kenya, at that time.
Ezra in a media interview said he, therefore, wanted to study a bit more about how public policy ideas could be translated into realities. “I was more than happy to receive the CEU fellowship that enabled me to enrol in the one-year MA in Public Policy program (then offered by the Department of Public Policy).”
He was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission prior to the 2017 general elections after the term of the troubled James Oswago came to an end.

In an exclusive phone interview with K24 Digital, the former IEBC CEO regretted that a section of Kenyans wishes him death by spreading misleading information.
Chiloba says he is in good health but at the same time wondered why someone could claim he is no more for the second time in two years.
“I’m alive and kicking. I don’t know why someone would wish me death at this moment. This is the second time they are killing me. The first one was in 2019,” he told K24 Digital.
