Maks Chmerkovskiy is a well-known professional dancers on reality dancing, who is a Ukrainian-American Latin-ballroom dance champion, choreographer, and instructor, he has a younger brother who is also a professional dancer named Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Chmerkovskiy and his skills and talent of dancing completed at the professional level in the International Latin category. He achieved the rank of 2nd in the United States and 7th in the world among professional international Latin couples.
Maks Chmerkovskiy was born on 17 January 1980 in Odesa, Ukraine SSR to parents Aleksandr “Sasha” Chmerkovskiy and Larisa Chmerkovskiy. He has a younger brother Val Chmerkovskiy.
Val was born in 1986 and is a professional dancer as well. On February 12, 2016, he announced plans for a 45 city tour with his younger brother, Valentine. The tour title is “Maks & Val Live On Tour: Our Way.”
The tour began on June 15, 2016. The show is autobiographical and tells the story of the brothers’ lives through dance. Val rose to stardom as a fan-favorite professional and eventual two-time winner of the hit series Dancing with the Stars.
The Chmerkovskiy sibling co-wrote and co-directed their very own 55-city North American tour “Our Way” in 2016. They had difficulty with English langer and were bullied for the same.
Maks Chmerkovskiy had been in a couple of relationships. He dated Peta Murgatroyd in 2012 but, the relationship didn’t last long and ended in 2013 after 10 months.
The couple reunited in October of 2014. They got engaged on 5 December 2015, when he proposed while onstage for a performance of Sway: A Dance Trilogy in Miami, Florida.
They have got a son named Shai Aleksander, who was born on 4 January 2017, and they got married in a contemporary ceremony in Long Island, New York on July 8, 2017.

He first started dancing with his partner, Elena Grinenko, at the International Latin category, wherein the duo went on to achieve the second rank in the United States and the seventh rank at the International level.
Maks decided to start a dance studio with his father at age 17 The dance academy focused mainly on the youth in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
