Peter Aykroyd Death – Cause of Death: Canadian actor, comedian and writer, Peter Aykroyd, best known for his time on “Saturday Night Live,” has passed away, as announced on Saturday, November 20 episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’. He was 66 years old.

‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL) is an American late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show created by Lorne Michaels. Actors, comedians and artists get together to perform short, hilarious skits on current, intelligent and at times ridiculous topics.

Peter Aykroyd joined “SNL” in 1979, during the show’s fifth season. He appeared in the films “Coneheads” and “Spies Like Us” and many more.

Aykroyd co-created Canadian science-fiction drama Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal, which ran for 88 episodes between 1996 to 2000.
