Taniya Boatwright has appeared in 2022 American Idol, though she is a high school student based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The 20th season saw the teenage lady scream out her lungs in an attempt to grab the golden ticket but the judges didn’t find her ready enough for the ride, while the three of the judges advised her to take her time to develop her skills and eventually come back next season, which she did make an impact among the viewers with her innocence and her soothing voice.
Some people even think that it was a mistake to not recognize Boatwright’s talent on the recent episode with the ticket, she is reported to have been singing ever since she can remember and has been performing in different school events and occasions.
Although she couldn’t make it on the Idol stage, Boatwright has made enough impact that the fans wanted to see her grab the golden ticket.
JusticeforTaniya with the hashtag is also picking up on Twitter as people show their support for the 17 years old girl who was born 2004/05 in the local neighborhood of South Carolina although the actual date of birth is unknown at the moment.
Boatwright is still at a particularly young age and will have multiple chances to make her dream come true.
