‘The Young and the Restless’ actor Jerry Douglas Death – Cause of Death

Jerry Douglas Death – Cause of Death: The Young and Restless star, Jerry Douglas passed away on Tuesday, November 9 after a brief illness, his family announced. He was 88 years old.

Jerry Douglas played as patriarch John Abbott on “The Young and the Restless” for more than 30 years.

For several years, Douglas appeared on TV shows such as Mission: Impossible and The Feather and Father Gang.

The Young and the Restless is an American television soap opera created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell for CBS. The show is set in a fictionalized version of Genoa City, Wisconsin. Its first broadcast was on March 26, 1973.

Jerry Douglas joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in March 1982 as John Abbott, patriarch of the Abbott family and wealthy chairman of Jabot Cosmetics.
