Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale was reportedly hospitalized due to illness. He is being treated in hospital for several days. His condition is said to be critical. The actor was placed on life support, stated the Hindi film industry.
Vikram Gokhale has reportedly been treated at Dinas Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune for 15 days. It is not known exactly what happened to him or why he was hospitalized. Doctors at the hospital and family members declined to comment.
Bollywood veteran Vikram Gokhale has played important roles in many famous movies. In 1999, Vikram played the father of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
He has acted in many movies like Dil Se, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, Hichki, Nikamma, Mission Mangal etc. The veteran actor had previously said that Vikram Gokhale had to face a very difficult situation when he came to Bollywood. At that time, Amitabh Bachchan became his angel.

The 77-year-old retired from the Marathi Theater in 2016 due to persistent neck problems. However, it is unclear whether the illness is related to his current hospitalization.
A report from Marathi Outlet Navshakti mentioned that he was taken to the hospital a few days ago and was treated in a stable condition.
However, reports say his condition has deteriorated again in recent days and he remains in critical condition.
