Andrea views the Russia, authoritarianism, and democratic threats in Europe and the United States, as well as the state of the Transatlantic Alliance, as the director of the transatlantic security program at the center for a new American security ( CNAS).
Andrea served as the director of the US intelligence community’s strategic study of Russia, as well as the IC’s representative in interagency policy deliberations, she is an adjunct lecturer at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she teaches international relations.

Andrea served as a senior intelligence officer for eight years before joining CNAS as a senior intelligence officer.

For the five years between 2015 and 2018, she worked as the Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Russia and Eurasia in the National Intelligence Council (NIC) of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
She was awarded a degree in political science at Standford University, Înainte of joining the National Intelligence Council, Andrea worked as a senior analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
She conducted the research on Russia and Eurasia, autocratic political dynamics, and democratic decline.

She is married with three children and they all live in Bethesda, who are yet unknown to the public, she is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of California, Los Angeles, Taylor holds a Ph.D. in Political Science.
