Previously, Frank head coached the Kansas State University from 2007 to 2012. And before that, the 55-year-old worked in the role of assistant coach and head coach for three high schools in Miami.
His first-ever head coach job was for the boy’s junior varsity team at Miami High School in 1985. Born to Cuban political exile parents, he is a first-generation American born on March 23, 1966, in Miami, Florida.

After a while, the couple decided to tie the knot, and now, are blessed with three children together. Their names are Amalia, Brandon, and Christian.
Besides that, there isn’t much information about her available on the internet.
The basketball coach Frank Martin went bald after getting a diagnosis with COVID-19 back in May 2020. According to him, since contracting the virus, Frank started losing hair, and as a result of that, the 55 year-old decided to shave his head.
Frank suddenly started having a hair fall, and according to him in an interview with thesate, he said,” he loved his hair a lot, and likes to keep it, but never imagine he will lose them someday.”
He further added, “If it is stress, and eventually (my hair) comes back, then we’ll get the gel out again.” So, therefore, his new look is not permanent.
However, many of the people are fans of his new look. Previously, the University of South Carolina head coach used to flaunt a full set of hairs. Without any evidence, rumors about him being suffering from a serious illness were all over the internet.
However, the 55-year-old is not sick; the hair loss is just the side effect of COVID-19.
As mentioned above, Frank Martin’s hair loss is the result of the side effects of COVID-19, not cancer.
The 55-year-old has clearly stated that he suffered a sudden hair loss after contracting the virus. So, it was the after-effects.
It was the head coach’s personal decision to shave his hair; however, it is not a permanent look for him.
Frank is completely healthy and fine as of now.
