Israel Matseke Zulu Dead? Legendary actor Israel Matseke- Zulu has been forced to quit Gomora after being diagnosed with ‘Gangrene’ On His Leg.
In a statement made by the actor, he revealed that he requested to be killed off the hit show due to being diagnosed with ‘Gangrene’ On His Leg. “It is true that I have been diagnosed with a disease which severely affected the functioning of my legs, making it difficult for me to walk properly and function well on set during the filming,” the actor shared.
Furthermore the actor said; “Performance is my life, this was one of the hardest decisions that I had to take, but I saw that my health matters the most, and I need to recover.”
The showrunners confirmed that ‘Don’ won’t be part of the drama series after his character was shot and killed by his son Teddy – the role played by Sicelo Buthelezi.
Gomora is a South African television drama series produced by Seriti Films. The drama series replaces Isthembiso, which hasn’t been renewed for a fourth season. The series tells a story of two families in two different lifestyles and how their lives intertwine by a tragedy. The series is filmed in the Alexandra township, hence the name of the series. Gomora airs Monday to Friday at 19h30 on Mzansi Magic.
On Gomora, Don plays the role of an impulsive gang leader who previously left his marriage with Zodwa to stay in Sandton with a wealthy woman.
