Alyssa Gunn-Maldonado Death: Denver yoga teacher identified among four killed in Colorado mass shooting on Monday night.
35-year-old Alyssa Gunn-Maldonado was killed on Monday night at Sol Tribe Tattoo and Piercing following the deadly mass shooting spree across Denver and Lakewood.
Alyssa was killed alongside shop owner Alicia Cardenas, while her husband, Jimmy Maldonado who was also shot was transported to the hospital where he is currently in ICU.
“Today the Denver yoga community mourns the loss of one of its great teachers,” Karma Yoga Center announced via Facebook page. “A tragic shooting took the life of Alyssa Gunn Maldonado and Alicia Cardenas, of Sol Tribe Tattoo.”
“We send our heart felt prayers to her family and husband Jimmy who was also shot and is awaiting surgery. Rest In Peace Alyssa. You helped so many people with your wise teachings. You will be greatly missed.”
