Diasha Renee Fitts Obituary News: Victim identified in fatal Waynedale shooting.
The Allen County Coroner has identified a Fort Wayne woman who was shot to death over the weekend as 39-year-old Diasha Renee Fitts.
Fort Wayne Police say that Fitts had just left the Fraternal Order of Eagles lodge at 4940 Bluffton Road when someone shot at the car she was in with a man at the intersection of Winchester Road and Airport Expressway around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Police said that the man driving the car went back to the lodge and called for help.
Police haven’t said anything about who they think shot the person, and they haven’t made any arrests.
