Libby Stimpson Death: According to family members, a 28-year-old woman who is believed to have fallen into the Weber River is currently missing.
According to the family of the victim, the 28-year-old woman who fell into the Weber River on Monday has been identified as Libby Stimpson.
Deputy David Reed from Weber Fire reported that the initial call was received shortly after 5:30 p.m. The caller reported seeing a person in the river and hearing screams.
According to reports, Stimpson was walking her dogs on her family farm when she was caught in the fast-moving current.
According to the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, Stimpson’s dogs were found unharmed, but the search for Stimpson is ongoing.
As of Tuesday evening, Stimpson had not been found despite ongoing search efforts in the river.
