Travis Kelly Deardorff Death: Investigation revealed 56-year-old Lisa Gaye MYERS of 13500 block of Bradford Ln. in Manassas as the accused. She was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder, police said.
Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Bradford Ln. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shooting at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, November 27.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, identified as a 49-year-old Travis Kelly Deardorff, and the accused were involved in a verbal altercation while inside the residence. During the altercation, the accused went into a bedroom where she retrieved a firearm and shot the victim. The accused immediately contacted emergency services, police said.
Upon officers arrival at the residence, they detained the accused without incident. The victim was flown to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later succumbed to his injuries.
