On June 5th, just before midnight, Amy’s grown son contacted 911 to tell that his stepfather had murdered his mother.
David allegedly started arguing with Amy after ranting to the police about how God had told him that he was not a member of the family. David took out a firearm during the altercation and shot Amy many times in the face.
The son said that when he fled the house to dial 911, he heard ten further gunfire.
When the police arrived at the Osowski residence, they observed David leaving with blood on his hands and clothes. David said when asked whether anyone else was home, “She is inside, dead on the bed.”
David was detained on the spot and is now facing first-degree murder charges.
In 2016, the couple were hitched.
Amy’s deep love and adoration for her children was one of her greatest gifts she was able to give to her family.
She is survived by her brother Stacy, 16 year old daughter, Kaida, 19 year old son, Nakai, and 20 year old stepson, Kyle.
