Caitlyn Pollock Obituary – Car Accident: Mill Creek HS cheerleader, Caitlyn Pollock killed in “tragic” car accident.
The Mill Creek Cheer community mourns the tragic death of junior cheerleader, Caitlyn Pollock.
16-year-old Caitlyn Pollock was in a single-car accident from which she sustained severe injuries on Saturday, October 29, 2022, report says.
According to Gwinnett County Police, the driver of the car, 21-year-old Kyle McDowell, was traveling north on Sugarloaf Parkway toward State Route 316 when he failed to navigate the entrance ramp and struck a concrete barrier.
Pollock, a front-seat passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
McDowell is recovering from minor injuries at the hospital and he has now been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, first degree vehicular homicide and failure to maintain a lane, police said.
