Rest in peace Carol Lavell.
Carol was a Team Bronze medalist on her horse Gifted at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain.
She was named 1990 and 1992 U.S. Olympic Committee Female Equestrian Athlete of the Year.
The Gifted Grant fund was established by Carol, in honor of her horse, with The Dressage Foundation, and has been granted to two of our members in recent years.
We are saddened to hear of Carol’s passing.
