On Friday, The East Mills School District announced the passing of Jr/Sr High teacher Chase Heinold, via a statement shared on Facebook.
“We have to share difficult news today. Last night Jr/Sr High teacher Chase Heinold passed away,” the statement read. “The Jr/Sr High School is going to be open at 3 PM-5PM today Friday, March 17, to allow people to gather and support each other. The AEA crisis team has been contacted, along with a couple local pastors. Further details will be shared as we get them.”
His cause of death was not disclosed.
Chase was an English teacher at East Mills Jr/Sr High School.
