It is with great sadness Chief of Police William Kingsbury announces the death of retired Medway Police Officer David Consigli. Dave began his career with Medway in 1969 as a patrol officer. Over the course of his career, he was a member of the Tri-County Drug Task Force, a very active crime prevention officer, and one of Medway’s longest serving juvenile officers.
Dave dedicated the later half of his career to the children and teens of Medway, frequently referring to them as “my kids,” while partnering with Medway’s long-time DARE Officer Peter Bates.
The department will miss Dave’s presence, stories and humor at and extends it’s condolences to Dave’s friends and family as well as to the community he served so well who will mourn his loss.
