David Parker obituary – Death: According to an online obituary on Saturday, May 3, 2023, David Parker has passed away unexpectedly. However, his cause of death was not disclosed.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of one of our much loved members David Parker.
David lived locally and worked in mining research before he retired. Blacksmithing was a great interest of his for many years and he brought those skills and many others to his work with props and sets. He was introduced to Nowra Players through the Thursday morning Tim Tams group, which he attended for 10 years. David worked backstage in the UK theatre in the 1950s. Many may remember David in his debut role of Godfrey in the 2019 production of Dad’s Army which he enjoyed immensely.
We extend to his son Andy and all the family our sincere condolences. He will be sadly missed.
