We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Georgeann Krzyzanowski, SSND.
Sister Georgeann came to MMU in 1976 and taught geography as a member of the faculty for eight years. In 1984, she became assistant to Sister Mary John Van Vonderen, who was the director of buildings and grounds. Sister Georgeann assumed that role in 1987 and served as director for 24 years. In 2011, she became the director of special services and served in that capacity until her retirement in 2018.
Services will be held Thursday, May 25, in the Mother Caroline Chapel of Trinity Woods. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the sharing of memories at 12:30 p.m. The funeral Mass will begin at 1 p.m.
