Gregory Allen Wall Obituary News: Pedestrian Hit and Killed By White 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Truck in SouthPark Area , Age 47
A guy who was murdered late on Thursday night in the SouthPark neighborhood by a pickup truck has been identified by the authorities.
Gregory Allen Wall, 47, has been named as the pedestrian, according to CMPD.
The event occurred on June 22 at around 10 p.m. in the 6200 block of Fairview Road. Wall was lying in the road when CMPD officers arrived on the scene.
A white 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup with damage to the front right-end was also seen there. According to CMPD, Wall was pronounced dead at the site.
According to the preliminary inquiry, Wall was not using the crosswalk and was instead crossing Fairview Road in a dimly lighted, dark location. He allegedly moved into the pickup truck’s path, causing him to be struck and propelled several feet ahead, according to the police.
When the pickup truck’s driver was tested for intoxication, it was discovered that he was not impaired at the time of the fatal collision. For Wall, the impairment is still unknown.
A toxicological report is still pending. The probe is still active and going on.
