It is with sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of our Past Worthy President Jim Griffin who passed away March 31st, 2023.
One of Jim’s greatest passions was service to others. He had a heart of gold and an amazing sense of humor. He loved music and would sing out loud to his favorite songs. Jim was larger than life to his family and a mentor to many. He will always be remembered for his pride and accomplishments made at the Eagles.
Jim is survived by his son Blake Griffin, his two daughters Autumn and Paige Griffin and granddaughter Melody.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, at the Durand Fraternal Order of Eagles, 5240 South New Lothrop Rd, Durand, MI 48429.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested any donations be made to the Go Fund Me account set up to help with funeral expenses.
