John Lunn, the master distiller at Sazerac Company’s A&J Bond Distillery in Tennessee, died unexpectedly on Thursday, 30th of March, Sazerac Company announced.
“John was a wonderful distiller, trusted leader, and patient teacher to his fellow Sazerac team mates. We will miss John’s friendship, knowledge, and most of all, his dry sense of humour. John always knew a subtle way to put a smile on our face while remaining a consummate professional,” the company said in a statement.
Lunn’s career spanned more than two decades in the distilling industry. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at Vanderbilt University in the US, and began his career at Diageo.
